Volunteers Needed! 

 

Help the Corsica River Conservancy plant a demonstration rain garden.  

 

Volunteers are needed to help create a demonstration rain garden in Centreville.  Tools, gloves, and refreshments provided.  This is a rain-or-shine event.  Join the Corsica River Conservancy in this pilot project and learn more about how you can sign-up your own front yard to receive a similar free renovation to help reduce stormwater flow into the Corsica River.  

 

Dates: 

Tuesday September 12th and October 3rd:  Volunteers needed to help prep the garden space, 9:00 to Noon.   

Tuesday September 19th:  Planting day; 9:00 to Noon.

Tuesday October 10th; Noon to 3pm. 

 

Location:  Centreville, Maryland.
